York Race Course’s End of Season Finale creates a great festival atmosphere both for horse-racing enthusiasts and visitors alike. The top trainers will be entering the season’s stars in Saturday’s Coral Sprint Trophy while the Friday meeting is Countryside race-day featuring a course-side fayre of countryside activities and trade-stalls. Friday’s Countryside Race card features races from 2pm with prizes up to £100,000.

Saturday’s meet starts at 1.15pm with 7 races on the card, including the end of season Coral Sprint. Learn more about the October Finale at the York Racecourse Events Programme.

You’ll want to avoid parking and traffic congestion, so book at York Naburn Lock Caravan Park. You can travel to York Racecourse on the local bus from the park entrance or nearby Designer Outlet Park and Ride.
