York Racecourse opens the Yorkshire race season with its Dante Festival 15–17 May. Yorkshire experts say it’s the early season winners to watch through the rest of the season race days at the Knavesmire track which is a short bus ride from the campsite.The course’s Spring season follows on Saturday 25 May with another race card of top quality horses for the Bronte Cup.

May’s 2024 York Racecourse programme is:
